Better i think.

Thoughts marko

like the DV, not the position of the gauge though. If you are sticking it in the vent then why not get a vent gauge pod that you can get to fit in the drivers side vent

Although I got fed up without having a heater vent so made my own.

found here in techi section

i got those gauges.. not bad are they. you know under the sticker on the back theres 2 switches to switch between bar/psi and voltage sweep on or off. :)

gauge looks just a touch pikey to me if I'm being honest, I mounted mine in the same place but took the time (lots of it lol) to do a tidy job of it, I'll post up a pic in a minute, in short though it's a good location but needs the slats in place and the gauge surround painted matt black, looks a bit bright too so maybe a resistor to dim it down slightly.

Edit to add - I mean the mounting of it is not great the gauge itself is tidy

Crappy iFail pics but you get the idea, like I said took a while to make but well worth it in the end :)

Nice ! What gauge is that ?

Cheers dude :) (presuming you mean mine lol)

It's one of the prosport gauges, idea is it lights up white with ignition then changes to green when you turn the lights on. I found it a bit tricky to the brightness right though (its really bright as standard) so have just set it to green with a resistor to dim it down

the vent isnt finished yet, im going to add the slats to finish it off, as for matte black think im going to keep it silver to try and match it in with the silver on the std gauges.

This is the gauge:

I have set it to PSI and kept the voltage run on (quite funky)

Ah see, ye should look tidy when done its a much better location then off to the right I reckon :)

It was a bit of a toss up for me deciding whether to leave it silver to try and match, but I reckon black leaves it looking less in your face and more oem which is what I was after, be good to see the finished product man

my one will look like that one soon ( if the misses lets me lol).

yes but a 007p gives the tsch noise when you team it up with an induction kit, the split r is only good for dumping boost which isnt a good thing
