My Dream is Over!

Featured Replies

Well, it was all going so well. Got my VRS a couple of months ago and the odd niggle aside, I have been more than pleased with her, and then I decided to go against type and suddenly leave my job for a different one thinking nothing could go wrong. And of course, it all went wrong immediately and today I was 'let go' from my new job . . . . That's what I get for taking a chance eh ha ha.

So Iv'e had to put the car up on #sigh# ebay :-( In order to get a cheaper to insure car.

Hopefully one day I will end up with another VRS and can come back on here and hopefully contribute some more.

Thanks to all who offered me any advice in my short time here!

:( bad luck

Hardest.

That's not good. Better luck for the future

Been there done that, not sure the tool who was my employer that caused it was to blame, or maybe I was also going too deep.

That said it worked out fairly well as I managed to get a job still, after my hols, within a month.

Don't lose hope and remain positive, if you condemn yourself to not get another then that will be through your own will, and don't be too proud not to go back to previous employers at least as long as it suits you ? Shame you have to get rid of the car though

Unlucky mate, hope things pick up. All the best for 2013.

Thank you all! Not exactly the start to the new year I anticipated I'll be honest. But, already applied for a few (considerably better) jobs, so the only way is up I guess. Previous employer sadly has not enough business on at min to take me back on, but that might change at least.

I WILL own a VRS again!

sorry to hear that fella, keep your head up.  hope you get something and you can keep the vrs.
