Superpro Bushes

Featured Replies

Where have people found they're sold most competively?

Looking at replacing front control arm bushes at the moment, so interested in SPF3346K - Front Control Arm, Front Bush Kit and SPF3273K - Front Control Arm, Rear Bush Kit With Anti Lift.

Cheers,

Steve

Ah yes, good call - remember when he used to be on here, haven't seen him online for a while? Despite being a current Octy owner :)

Got mine from here http://www.candrenterprises.co.uk/

Good price, but tbh I wouldn't fit them again, the WALK don't do that much on a day to day road car and the bushes whilst they stopped my squeaking for a bit just add a touch too much harshness to the front end.

Hes posts more regularly on the GTI forum. Userame on here is IbizaAlex

I've had mine about 2 years now. Cost £85/90? for the big rear ones as a ballpark. Can't remember who from.

As mine is a normal porridge L&K, I appreciated the tighter front. No extra harshness noticed.

Thanks Nick. Did you replace any others at the same time? And you fitted the anti-lift model?

Yup, the anti lift one. I ( I say "I", being now very lazy, my man did it). I asked him to set the hole at 45degrees) You'll see when you get yours.

Just used some ordinary ones at the front - the old 60,000 miles looked good enough to reuse.

Thanks Nick, I've read your posts about them over on Mk5 too :)

I suppose because the bush is not already set in a position like the Whiteline ones, you're free to choose the angle! I'll do as you've done

How long do you reckon it took for your hired help to change both sets? :D

What's the idea of the 45 degree angle rather than the offset hole being at the bottom (closet to the road)?

I think wih them being at the bottom as per instructions they generate a bit more positive camber (well less negative) and I think the Octavia needs more negative camber for traction purposes.

So i'd be interested if anyone has changed to 45 degrees or other angles and what benefits it produced.
