As per my other recent thread. ive now ordered/gathered the needed bits to install my tomtom

I have Tony (gratyeti;s) sat nav installation guide which takes the ignition live feed from a blade fuse spur on the rear wiper circuit.

I notice in the fuse box there is a gap marked in the manual as telephone installation but i assume that this is not going to be live as i don't have nay factory fitted phone options.

So is tapping the rear wiper circuit the best bet for an ignition live or does anyone have any other recommendations?

You could use a piggyback fuse holder and then run both circuits from the fuse box. It would save cutting into wires. They can be bought off eBay for a few quid here's the item number for one
