Hi all

After feeling my Vrs brakes are not up to the job, bought a pair of 312 calipers and carriers to fit!

Just a quick question about the spec's!

Is it just the carriers that are bigger or are the calipers different too?

Just didn't want to overhaul the calipers to fit if it just needs the carriers, discs and pads fitting??

Think I've read somewhere not on here that they are same but not 100% and can't find now!

Also my winter wheels and tyres are 15's so carriers and discs would be easier to swap twice a year!!!

Or get new winters!!!

Callipers are different too.

Pistons are same size - maybe you'd read that but the caliper needs to be swapped over too as it won't fit the TT carriers.

Is it easy to overhaul them yourself? Like is it just as simple as renewing the seals or is there more to it?

Got 2 sets of calipers so will overhaul the best pair and have them painted up to match for spring time.

What pads do people prefer?
