hi all has anyone got an imige of the gear linkage parts it doesnt show them in my haynes my gear stick is wobbly and im not sure what to order i changed the cam belt today and while it was on the axle stand i looked underneath and the problem seems to be possably a bush that sits under the gaitor on the gear leaver are they a dealer part only cheers nigel.

The parts are not expensive from the dealers, it's something like £15 for the bushes.

Take a good photo of the entire shift mechanism and we'll tell you what part numbers you need to order.

There are at least 3 types that I know of and we can't guess which one is on your car.

I bought a complete new linkage for £35 odd from my skoda dealer took 20-30- mins to fit. More expensive than buying the bits, but less fiddling around.
