Well of course you pay for work to be done when you entrust him with your vehicle. Which in turn pays for the fuel in his race car !

Any time you're up near lake admire there is a place on alligned my car just off there who I found very good.

Jet tyres or something - but unlike others they charge about £6 for a check and then £36 front adj or £36 rear. Much better than the place near me who wanted £60 to check it but that included 'two adjustments'. I must admit I wondered how likely it was that anyone walked away from jet without paying the same or more but when I went there they checked it, showed me the reports and recommended I gave them no more money
