VCDS Required in York please

Featured Replies

Can anyone help me with my soon to be collected Octavia MK2.

Want a few adaptations doing.

Messaged a couple of members nearby but they have been offline for months now so unlikely to get a response soon.

Willing to travel a little.

Many Thanks

Might be worth asking on the Malthouse Meet thread if you are able to go. I hope to get a cable at some point but it's unlikely to be any time soon.

I'm in Nafferton near Driffield if its any help.

Oh yes I did actually ask if anyone would bring it along. Looks like I may have found someone to do it sooner for me.

Oooh. That sounds promising. Are you around this Sunday as we will be passing as we are going to Bridlington to see family and take the car for a run.

I'm guessing you might already know where most of the coding is for the Octy?

What I'm wanting is:

Anti-hijack enabled

Selective unlocking disabled

Locking beep enabled

Coming/Leaving home lights enabled (I have the light sensor but no auto light switch)

Cornering fogs (if possible?)

Rain close windows (if possible?)

Enable second fog light

And I think that's all unless you can think of anything else useful.

What type of beer/wine etc do you like or would you prefer I slipped you some dosh?

Phil

Have a twenty at the ready, Phil ;)

I'm not too hot with vcds, I mainly do logging but if you search it out I'm sure we can do it.

I'm not sure what we are doing on Sunday yet but I'll either be in first thing or after 5pm.

Pm me nearer the time and red wine FTW ;)

Ok.

I will get the bits of coding together then before hand and print them off.

I will PM you some time then once I know what time we were planning on going over or coming back. I think we were probably going to be going a little later and so may catch you on the way back after 5.

Many Thanks

Phil

Have you got full VCDS with the long coding helper?

If so then most things should be self explanatory and just a matter of using the long coding helper and copying the coding over.

Thanks

Phil

Missed this.....

Yes it's full vcds running the latest software. I think it'll be ok to do, if we take a full scan first as a backup, then just tick the boxes of what you want.
