Got a Superb II 2011 with Columbus. The "hidden" menu say HW-version H60, SW-Version 3984 and Map version 7551

Got a disc with map 7918. Unit asked if I would copy to HDD. Press yes.

The progress bar, when pressing eject, go to the far end, and starts over again.. and again..

If I eject the disc, I now got no map in my unit... Boring to have to let the DVD stay in the unit...

I read about SW updates, but that is not important to me, just want updated maps

copy map is your problem, sometimes if you leave it in the unit it will install. otherwise it needs a genuine map

I had this when I first tried updating my Columbus to V9 maps. I had to try a few different types of DVD to get one that installed properly.
