I am about to order a eurocarparts window lifter for my 2000 SLX TDi . There seem to be two types, one with and one without comfort function. How do I tell please?

I have no idea what a "comfort function" is - sounds like a dodgy translation to me. The ones with a comfort function seem to be mounted on something which certainly isn't present in my SLX.

TBH I'd get one on eBay for less money as from the pictures at least the ECP ones don't look any better made.

I presume the "comfort function" refers to what most people call "one-touch operation".
