Ive only just realised why my pipe work looks loads different than it used to

Since the car has been in 2 garages for major work on it, they must of plumbed the pipes in differently, like the other way round

See the diffence??

Its upside down definitely!

I see the difference but it is not overly important!

Its actually better how it is now as hot air rises! Your now running whats known as a flip pipe

I would recommend you bin your cooler and buy a twin pass! Would work out much better

Et voila

Twin pass is only £90 and you can sell your old item

Twin pass far reduces pipework length and you will loose that 180 degree bend which cant be good for boost levels

:)

^^ it is true you loose about 5% of your pressure for every 90 degree bend, but in this case it would probably make no difference at all because if you fitted a twin pass cooler the air flowing through it still ha to bend 180 degrees round and flow back out in th other direction.

A twinpass for £90 where from? I am looking to buy one soon.

A sponsor of the site is bringing out a FMIC kit soon! They are just finalising a few things and its said to be no cutting and all new pipework!

It was supposed to be out before xmas but the cooler had to be sent back to be adjusted.

Have a look in the GB section, the intercooler thread. I have asked Joel but hes not aloud to disclose much but they are in the final stages now so hopefully it wont be too long :)

His lips are sealed..... a few people waiting in anticipation!!

My guess is Dirty Torque but have no idea really!

I though this group buy been cancelled?

It's all done and been trial fitted now, few more adjustments and bingo. I didn't even have to cut a thing on the chassis, when the kit goes back on and together I will get some picture up and the Finish. But I won't be doing a group buy and I don't have the time on my hands

That 180 degree bend will be gone soon and will all be routed different. Similar to joes in the yellow fab

Them eventually eliminate silicone joins and get it all welded

It has but read the last few posts on the last page :)
