He wants the windows up and down from the fob like my octavia

I've read on line that this is not possible via vag com but you need to purchase a KVW100 which plugs into the same port and is a one off use only. This then enables the windows via the fob rather than having the key in the door

Does anyone know if this is still the case please. I said I would have a look, can at least check faults if nothing else

I believe the KW1000 things also lock out the CCM too though. . .
