  • Get a BBC Model B and experience the best game ever (as we speak it's being updated and soon to be released once more unto the masses) Elite

  • Plenty of speccy emulators around and abandonware games. But you do find a lot of those games seem pretty crap now.

  • That some bloke is Thomas J Watson Sr (quite important in the company's history ), although as with all these things, there seems to be some doubt as to whether he ever said it. Chris

Likewise i remember playing this for ages and never destroyed the enemy carrier. Just googled it and had a look at the old screenshots. Ahhh the memories. It looks really dated now. Im really disappointed the remake isnt that good. It just doesnt look like they tried that hard.

Kind of off topic but another game i used to love on my old PC was "magic carpet" and "magic carpet 2", anyone mind these games? Amazing.

Pre-pentium PC's were ace, running windows 3. I mind when windows 95 came out and blew us all away as all games ran on DOS up untill then. I thought games running on windows was incredible at the time. How easily impressed we were back then.
