Hi all

I have been away for quite some time and since my last Octy mk1 VRS 1.8t I have had a BMW 330D and a 535D but have now seen the light of "sensible cars"!!!!!

And bought myself a VERY well spec'd 2010 VRS in amazing blue and I have to say it has not been a down-grade. The car is amazing, trundling along in Drive with fantastic MPG (almost double my 535!) and then switch it up to sports mode and it's off! Paddle shift is great and the car drives like a dream.

It's good to be back, especially as there are no immediate noticeable problems with this incarnation of the Octavia!
