Featured Replies

Was going to mention you George! =]

Thanks Dan, hope you are well

I'm now walking distance to work as well, first time in my working life!! :)

Car is only being used when i go home on occasional weekends, holidays or if we need to go anywhere.

October 2003 (53 Reg)

94000 Miles

Remapped in 2007

New clutch last year.

Various wear & tear fixes: New console bushes, anti-roll bar links, new N/S elec window mechanism, rear doors sealed, blower resistor.

Still puts a smile on my face every time I drive it!

Beaten by Chris. :-)

Glad your still happy with it

I've had my vRS SE from new back in may of 2007. not as much as others on here.

...and have you had that from new then?

Ordered October 03. Arrived in uk feb 04. Registered and delivered to me march 04. That 1 month knowing I could have it was a killer. But I thought having the 04 plate would be best.

Does yours have short vrs boot badge? Facelift lights? Rear door pin delete? Long gearbox?

Rear door pins?

Not familiar with that one. Do tell.

Pre 04 cars had rear door pins. Silver like the front doors. Personally don't see the point of then on any door. Broke my drivers one a couple if time resting my arm on it. Not very roadcraft I know lol

Oh, the chrome locking pins on the top of the door card?

With you now.

Yea, they are a bit of a waste of space and time really.

When I had my first vRS broken into, the brain dead breath wasting pond life that smashed two windows to gain entry actually tried to force one up using a pair of pliers (presumably) and only succeeded in snapping it.

May have been the same ****** dog turd that got into the current one after breaking into Ree Towers to nick the keys only to not be able to find reverse gear!

Wasn't funny at the time mind you. . :@

Going to be difficult to beat a one owner example of that age and with that mileage I'd have thought?

Have you kept it 'mint' and standard then?
