I was going to have a go a temp maintenance on my old motor, I have used the 10k boost on the past with medium results, I was recommended to try wynns for the egr valve, but am getting different reports on where to spray in the intake system.

As not to risk damage to car can anyone clarify with a picture If possible....

You are best off removing the EGR assembly and cleaning it by hand.

Remove one the large black elbow joint from the intercooler, the smaller feeder pipe from the turbo casting (2 bolts on the underside the EGR), and then the three bolts which hold the EGR to the inlet manifold. Plus a few vacuum pipes and one electrical connection.

it's a doodle to do, just the underside bolts are a tricky to get into

I have moved house yesterday so have very limited tools, would spraying down the flexi pope immediately before the egr be a useful temp fix????

I guess you want to remove the right angle large black pipe and spray into the EGR from there. Entry into the air system before that would mean going in before the intercooler (and if you sprayed in just after the MAF then it would go through the turbo too).

I used a socket mounted allen key and a 12mm (?) socket to undo the previously mentioned bolts.
