MFD2 to Columbus wiring alteration

Featured Replies

Ever since I changed my MFD2 for a Columbus, the aux input hasn't worked and the CD changer has sounded like it's actually a early 1900s gramophone which has been left in a very dusty room.

I've researched a bit on the internet recently and have seemingly found that a couple of wires need changing over at the back of the head unit. Does anyone know how easy it is to do? I am not technologically minded whatsoever but if you can simply pull the respective wires from the block, swap them over then plug them in, I might be tempted to have a go myself.

Here's a link to the page that I found:

Any assistance or suggestions gratefully received.

you need a small screwdriver to push the retaining tab on the terminal, before you pull it out
