Hi just driving my vrs today and BAM intercooler pipe blew off pure black smoke and very loud noise from under the bonnet so pulled over and the c Bend that goes directly into the top of the intercooler had come off so cliped it back in and started her up give it a rev a bam blew of agian so did the road side bodge and put the good side off the pipe in the intercooler and the worn side into the top pipe loads off black tape round it and fixed for today haha just wondering is there any upgraded pipes or better pipes with normal jubilee clips and not the crappy standard clips or am I just best buying a new pipe and leaving it ?? Thanks

I think forge do upgraded couplings and silicone hoses but they seem pretty expensive. I just cable tied mine as a preventative measure. I have a spare pipe you need in good condition if you want it? £20 posted, pm me if you do
