Skoda Fabia vRS

Featured Replies

Thinking about upgrading to a vrs. Was just wondering everyone's opinions on these. Also what are the common faults to look out for If there are any, what sort of price would you pay for one? And mileage and just any general Info would be great.

Sorry if this has been asked before. On my phone and can't see.

Will.

Surely price depends on your budget, condition, mileage and other factors.

I just paid 5k for my 54 plate 2005 yellow Fabian vrs with 49k on the clock and service history, the dealer gives 3 month warranty and also new MOT service and timing belt and water pump change. Went to fire it up today and had a flat battery, I assume the battery is not holding its charge as it fired up fine after I put it on charge for 3 hours, and pulled 14.5v when running so it isn't the alternator.

I've seen them for 3.5k upwards depending on what you're looking at

I paid £7,495 for my 07 SE on 1/10/12.

60k, full dealer service history, recent £800 bill for belts and pump change & service.

I "stole" my SE for £5300 about a year ago - 70k - full dealer history - remapped - etc etc

My tip is to be patient and go look at lots - history is important

Good luck

excellent condition apart from a few stone chips and little marks on boot, alloys were Ok.

2 prev owners, full service history bushes etc done, 94k

3k

be patient,

i looked at four before i bought mine, ok mileage at the time was 114,000miles, 2 owners, part service history to 75,000miles so as soon as i had it straight to skoda timing belt, water pump change. had car just under 12 months clocked 129,000miles, has put a couple of cars to shame. very happy with economy and performance and standard.

06plate, 100k miles, full service,clutch and waterpump under 3k.

07 plate, 72k miles, full service, water pump and belts all done £4,000

04 plate

37k

Cruise and heated seats

£7495

/\ in 2007 ;)

Just about to sell mine. I've agreed a price of £5,500. 55 reg. 23,000 miles.

bought mine for £3995 last summer, 53 plate with 95000 miles. Pretty decent condition with full service history :)

Paid £4k for mine in August

05 plate with 65k on the clock at the time

06 plate. Bought in 2006. £11.5K and 0% interest

Brand New :) It pays to run your own car in properly

If I was buying one now it would be a LE and as cheap as possible. Probably private but in very good nic. I'd go for one owner and ignore mileage
