Took the kids out last week when one of them kicked the ashtray by accident and now it won't close.

Has anybody had the same problem and is it an easy fix or will it need a new ashtray ?

You could buy a new one but they stupid money so I removed the spring that holds it open and now it will stay closed, there is a piece of white plastic connected to a gear that breaks off if you could replace it but its not sold separately, alternatively you could check out the junk yards but a lot you will find are already broken, G
