I have only just got a 53 reg vrs with no hand book , and the ice warning buzzer comes on showing 4,oc .can this be changed ? Or turned off ?

possibly but it will be a job for vagcom i suspect

There's already a similar post going on about this, it's a valuable warning alert and there for a purpose, if you don't want to hear it, leave your car at home and walk.

My fuel, washer etc warning is a really harsh beep.

Ice warning is a little bong that's no where near as loud or distracting.

Yup was the same on my Cordoba.

The loud beep can make you jump sometimes!
