no lights or remote central locking...

Featured Replies

Hello i removed and unplugged the dome light and then put it back plugged in and now the car wont remote central lock but will manually and none of my interior lights come on... So dome light, map lights, door open lights and boot light

Please help, i assume its a relay? Really getting annoyed already after one day of manually unlocking...

What is the part number for the convenience module? Mine has two connectors as I've tried disconnecting it and cleaning the connections with electrical contact cleaner but that did nothing... Also disconnected the battery for about an hour to reset it.

I have also taken out and cleaned with the contact cleaner every single fuse and terminal and I only found 1 dead fuse which was a mini 10A so I assume that isn't it as id have thought that one that does all that would be more like 20A think it was adjacent to 8 on the left

Time to get it scanned with VCDS.

have you tried with the dome lights disconnected to ensure it isn't that assembly causing a problem?

What you mean take the bulbs out? it's gone back in the way it came out to start with and everything worked perfect before

I have similar issues on mine- no interior lights / windows/ remote locking. I have managed to get the interior lighting working once or twice but all I get is flashing lights and a consistant steady ticking from behind the dash! Have checked and cleaned the fuses too. Would that sound like a knackered relay or do I have a knackered comfort control module (or both)?
