Baker21's Superb - 'Low and Snow'

Featured Replies

Haven't posted up in here for a while but took some interesting images of the Superb on Friday that I thought I would share.

The Superb has been with me for 7 years now, 236k and touch wood, still going strong being used as my daily completing around a 70 mile trip each day.

A daily to me means a daily that you can drive, it's challenging but the 'snow plough' just about made it home:

And finally the view from it's home:

Call yourself a detailer? It looks filthy......

Even my car dontlook that dirty and mine aint been washed since September lol

........but oh, so good ;)

Does look good - and nice pics

Think I'd cry if mine were ploughing snow though :'(

Gaz

Great pictures Simon.

Glad to see the old girl is still going strong (always been my favourite Superb)

7 years faithful service, tremendous! But are we feeling the 7 year itch?

Cant imagine having a car for that long (7 months is long for me lol) so you must rate it very highly.

Roll on spring for a complete detail eh?

Take it steady mate

I am pretty sure I have had an itch every year buddy, LOL!!

Problem I have is that it returns good MPG, it's very comfy, low service costs and it just keeps on going, now it's worth nothing so I will be running it until it's not financially worth it.

There is a outside chance of a 'second' car this year but we will see how that develops....... ;)

Hope all is well with yourself........ :)

Been out using my A8 as a snow plough and its not even as low as Simons' Superb on the A8 sports suspension.

Pics look great Simon, just needs a good clean, 70 miles a day must take its toll in this weather. I do about 400 miles a month in the Audi.

Very ugly Sup.

Hahaha just kidding :giggle::hi:

Is that summer's tires? :)

Ofcourse, no winter wheels or tyres being run here........;)

I have the same issue. As problems go, it's not a bad one. :)

Is that 3 tanks of fuel then? :giggle:

It is indeed a long time since there's been pics of yours posted here - and still looking good. In a couple of months, I'll have had mine for 7 years too - but only 70k miles. 236k? wow! What was on the clock when you got her?

I bought it with 85k on the clock...........;)

i managed to rip my engine under tray off today due to ice building up on the top side of the tray, which made it saggy and then mr speedbump kindly tore it off :(

I have taken a lot of engine tray damage over the years but have now finally lost the rear section following a service completed at a VAG Specialist, wasn't happy but had planned to replace them both when the better weather arrives as I knew the snow would take its toll on them both..........:)

Always loved your car!
