Was wondering if anyone could help me I have just noticed that my driver seat in my vrs fabia has a creaking seat. Is there any way I stop this making this I ratting sound or is it something I need to put up with. Car only done 13k so not that old either.

Mine does, others on here will have one that does. I was thinking of raising seat to highest, squeezing hand under and giving a few squirts of WD40. But then I think, sod it! I'll only hear all the other creaks and rattles from the **** poor dashboard instead :-)

I don't have the problem with a creaking dash board so it just the seat lol

Maybe it hasn't fully locked in place? have you tried changing position of the seat (back or forth)?

Mine did the same. Warranty job. Was told they changed the mounting brackets.
