Got the car back tonight after Mikey at Powdrake Services working his magic and getting the LOBA Sachs clutch fitted and Bilstein B6 dampers to even out the bouncy ride from the eibachs.

Here is the old faulty clutch and DMF, loads of play in the DMF i was quite shocked how much considering Newmarket Skoda and Chathams Skoda said it was fine, even Newmarket replaced the needles and bearings thinking the rattling came from that!

Got the gearbox out friday night, Saturday started removing other bits and got the clutch in new flywheel bolts and release bearing, then today fitted the Bilsteins, it needs a new starter motor solenoid as Newmarket who replaced the starter motor while curing the DMF rattle had overtightened bolts onto the bracket so inturn removing it snapped a bolt and the plastic snapped on the solenoid so thanks Newmarket usless toss pots.

Thankfully a local Bosch approved auto elec place is sorting it during the week and have provided an awesome temp fix they knew the part straight away and will be here on tuesday car starts and runs fine in the meantime so big thumbs up MTH http://www.mthautoservices.co.uk/

What's the DMF weight vs your new flywheel?

Dmf alone weighed in at 26 pounds

Whole stock clutch and DMF weighed 41 pounds if i mind right.

the DMF feels super heavy when you pick it u though.

Take it this is uprated clutch too for the power, did you find the less heavy dmf made tickover a bit noisier?

Its an uprated clutch and lightened single mass flywheel, the old Dual Mass Flywheel had excessive play and rattled on idle.

I'm guessing not as you've a petrol engine not a derv.

As for the B6, Enjoy, the B12 kit is a joy to behold

So far great no more bouncing but it isnt that stiff that it crumbles your spine its a great balance, have used them in anger yet due to the weather and letting them settle in.

Flywheel has zero rattle even with aircon on.

Grizzle, where and how much for the clutch setup, sounds like what I will be looking for shortly to harness K04 power!

£850 for the clutch kit, Speak to Graeme Johnston at GNJ Motorsport fabulous service cant praise him enough.
