Yesterday I went to unlock my car using the remote all doors unlocked apart from drivers door. Manged to get in from the passenger side, but drivers door would not open from the inside.

Later on I tried the key in the boot lock and this then released the drivers door, which then worked on remote for another 2 times

The drivers door can only be now unlocked and locked using the key. I confirm the following still work

Interior light

Electric windows

Mirrors

The only thing that does not work is the led.

If I put my ear to the door I can hear the lock motor whirring.

Don't know if this is connected but prior to this the drivers door exterior handle would stick in the open position but would unstick by pushing it in or slamming the door.

Sorry for the long post but wanted to giv full details to get the best advice on how to resolve this.

mines making a funny noise on drivers side but i had split in loom to the door and the pins in the mech were rotted out :(

Definitely the drivers door loom, I have that same problem (CL only working on the key, both front doors not unlocking via remote, drivers mirror not adjusting). Pretty common problem.

What kind of costs would I be looking at.

Strange think is that on occasions it wil lock.and unlock on the remote, it seams like the interior door button does not always come up fully.

Now it seems to be working on te remotr the majority of times.

Any ideas.

Mines doing same. Drivers door has to be locked and unlocked with key, led in door not flashing and drivers mirror not adjusting.

Different ppl suggesting different fixes

Sham as Shax but don't know if I can unlock it with key as the door lock is seazed

I have exactly the same problem with mine apparently you have to find a loom with the same serial number or code etc. I'm not 100% on this hence why I haven't done anything about it. I could do with the advice too if anyone has any??
