new air filter, never been changed car is 3 yrs old and done 17k. easy job?

stick some new wipers on

thanks for suggestions prolly use euro parts but air filter from skoda

Airfilters easy as. Just undo all the t20 bolts on the air box then disconect the airmass sensor. The air box then opens staight up pull the old filter out push new on in then reasamble it all.

ta. excuse to use my new cheapy socket set.

Be carefull not to snap the little rubber gromets that position the plastic engine cover in place as it requires a good pull to get the thing off try and locate your hand as close to the mounting points there are 4 or five from memory. It can be quite daunting pulling hard at the cover that containes the filter it feels like its flexing and going to snap or at least mine did but it does come off in the end just be carefull.

Have had the engine cover off in the past to clean it, so that's ok. Will get the filter ordered and have a go when its a bit warmer.
