Egr question

Featured Replies

I had a topic up just a few days ago about remaps and was given some great advice so I'm after some some:)

I have been looking into a big fish tunning remap and they do something called a egr bypass or blanking (I can't remember his wording) and basically what is this is it safe is it a good thing. Sorry for the silly questions

Thank you

EGR delete is perfectly fine, you will need the remap though if you have a BLT engine since it will throw up the engine mgmt light.

If you have an ASZ though I would do it yourself it will be alot cheaper.

Throws CEL on both engines

How do I find out which mine is? It's a 54 plate vrs? And I've found out its a gas recirculating or something any chance any one could say what it does haha

Throws CEL on both engines

I didn't know it did on the ASZ

Exhaust Gas Recirculation - basically recycles the exhaust gases so that they burn cleaner which in turn reduces emissions.
