I have bought the CTVVGX004 kit to plug into the RCD300 HU in my Golf Plus. I have tried the VW forums but get virtually no answer so thought it better to ask here, someone will know.

I'm just trying to find out exactly which is the cd changer port on the back of the HU and hopefully a part number if needed to allow it to fit in the quad lock thingy...

Any help would be appreciated. I'm sure it's simple and it's just me being thick...lol

I have one in the skoda, as you look at the back of the cd player (i have a stream) its the right hand bottom cable on that think it was a white connector block. The cable that connects to your cd player from the connects 2 box only fits in one socket. Hope thats some help!

Yeah I've got it sorted now, thanks for your reply though Graeme. I tracked the problem down to me having a moment of temporary stupidity...lol. That and combined with doing it at 9.30 at night with just a head torch and looking but not seeing what I was doing. Just got the earth lead to attach and job done.
