I watched the episode of top gear last night with the yeti on, and I'm sure the first time I watched it he was driving up a grassy hill, stopped at the top where the hill hold activated and and then accelerated away saying "oh that's good... Extremely good" but it wasn't in that episode.

I must be losing it as I'm certain I have seen that, I'm sure it was the yeti.

It might well of happened but if you watch Top Gear on dave they do edit the programme alot to fit adverts in.

It could be that I'm 98% certain it was on that episode,I also have a recollection of there being a range rover attempting the same thing and failing.

I guess I'm just losing it.

Yes they did, Clarkson pressed a button to higher the suspension on it and it was wobbling all over. I'm pretty sure after that they continued the tests and he tried driving them both up a grass hill then stopping and trying to move off. And him being genuinely impressed with the yeti and not so much with the range rover.

I've got the episode from back then (Series 16, episode 1) and it's only the Yeti that does the hill start (30 minutes in). it's quite a long segment for one car, just short of 20 minutes.

But it definitely did the hill start? I'm not going mad woo! They must have edited the episode on Dave as carisbrook said.
