Rear light cluster smashed - where to get replacement?

Featured Replies

So, came out of the gym to find the nearside rear light cluster smashed. No damage to the bodywork so who knows how it happened.

Does anyone have an idea of the part number or a rough price?. The car is a 2012 VRS estate.

I have tried the dealers but the parts dept is closed. There is one on ebay for £47 but im not sure if this is a pattern part or not.

Alternatively, does anyone know of a reasonable supplier of the part?.

Thanks.

Try breakeryard.com

Do not buy one from ebay unless a genuine one. The cheap ones fade within a year a go like a matt pink colour.

I speak from experience :@

I found one from a member on here after something similar happend to me.

£49.58 from Skodaparts.com but they don't seem to show N/S/R at the mo. (out of stock?) Link below for the O/S to give you an idea. Not sure if the vRS one is different.

Agreed, it is worth the few extra quid for a genuine one.

Remember the tail lights on the estate are different to the ones on the hatch.

I have a problem with my rear light cluster when changing it (old one got cracked) one of the bolts attached to the lamp unit keeps on coming off when I try to undo the nut all it does is spin and I can take off the old light cluster but bolts stuck to the metal so is there any way to take off the bolt without damaging anything

I've used this ebayer seller before http://stores.ebay.co.uk/theskodapartsshop and have been really pleased. It's all genuine parts so are pretty much the standard prices but everything has free postage.
