Wheel Refurb - TWS?

Featured Replies

Morning all. Going to get my wheels refurbed and was wondering whether anyone had any experience of The Wheel Specialist? Huge bonus is obviously the fact that they offer the complete tyres off/tyres on/balancing service. But... the quote I've had from them is ~380 which seems OTT considering I've had mates and read stuff about TWS doing the same for a fraction of The price! Plus i can get my bare alloys done for ~120 locally but then need to borrow a set of wheels in the meantime!

Is there anyone else that offers a similar service to TWS but fir less? Or can you negotiate with TWS over price? I only was gloss black so not fancy.

Cheers, Dave

Yes I had my Ibiza Cupra R OZ Seat Sport wheels done by these lot, in Birmingham. The wheels were quite curbed to be fair, they done a brilliant job I was very impressed with the service. So much so il be going back to them next month to get my summer wheels BBS done.

Do a couple of online quotes on their website, and they will email you offers. Special offer quoted to me at the mo £230 for four 17" wheels. Which isn't bad. Iv had wheels done elsewhere and the finish wasn't as good as the above.

Just got a quote using "LOTUS715" discount code and came back as

£292 for Alloy,16",Smoked Chrome,Loose Wheels - Strip, Refit and Balance.

£244 for Alloy,16",TWS Gunmetal,Loose Wheels - Strip, Refit and Balance

Fingers crossed I get the special offers coming through as really want to get my summers done this year while they are off the car.

Think I'll wait for a special offer coming through as a mate had his 350Z Rays wheels done - tyres off, powdercoat, tyres on and balanced for £250 with them a couple of years back.
