headlamp washers feed - clip missing

Featured Replies

Calling all self confessed yeti anoraks! Does anyone know the name for the little plastic clip that holds the feedpipe onto the headlamp washer's 'body'?

Since the weekend my Yeti washer reservoir low warning lamp has been coming on repeatedly and I noticed that it has been losing litres of washer fluid despite only modest use. Also noted yesterday evening that the headlamp washers weren't working. Traced the fault (I think!) to the feedpipe working loose (or not having been connected correctly after recent front end body repair!) on the driver's side. I've just this evening reconnected the pipe (fiddly little blighter) and it clicks on, but I've also noticed on the other, nearside pump, there's a sort of plastic clip to hold the pipe and the pump body together. It's an odd looking little clip. I've had to temporarily use a cable tie, but I'm worried its won't last. Haven't tested it yet as its still in garage but will tomorrow on short journey in daylight. Its feasible that the cold weather recently and frozen fluid might be to blame, but ummmmmm....I'm not so sure.
