Rear Vrs badge on Furby

Featured Replies

Forgive me if this has been discussed before, but i've seen fabia vrs's with two types of rear vrs badges on them. One type has a vrs badge which is wider than the fabia badge, and another type has a badge of the same width as the fabia badge. does anyone one know what type my new vrs will have?

i test drove a 53 plate with the wider badge, i'm a bit miffed on this one!!

cheers

I've just collected my new Fabia vRS this morning - it's got a small fabia width vRS badge and very nice it is too.

I think the early 53 plate cars used the same badge as the Octavia.

2004 MY cars used the Octavia badge as MB says above. In 2005 MY they changed to a small Fabia specific badge.

Most people take them off anyhow for the cleaner look.

Yep, think it co-incided with the new style rear lights, may be wrong though. Certainly my March 2004 has the older, longer badge which is shortly coming off along with the Fabia lettering.

As Lummox says, does give a cleaner look and I don't particularly like the look of the Fabia badge anyway.

The change was definitely prior to the facelift - a friend's August 2004 pre-facelift model has the short badge.

The vRS badge was redone for the Furby after the first (set of?) 53 models, to be the 'correct' size to match the Fabia logo bit.

First series was of Octy vRS.
