Not sure if anyone has done this but i did a 2nd gear run all the way to 4th (just shy of 4200rpm) and got a peak of 65c IAT reading.

I'm debating to upgrade to a twin pass FMIC, since i don't boot the car all the time I'm wondering if i should bother if i can get one good run unheatsoaked then i might not bother, it just drop down quickly.

Outside temp was 10c the car was reporting 26c IAT on the motorway.

Does this figure sound okay?, anyone if the ECU will then degrade performance as far as fueling etc at these temps.

All i have done is created louvres in the wheels arch and shaved the fog light surround.

What do folk think?

Could be a different story in summer i know.

As long as you can run VCDS-Lite (or above) then yep.

I did some logs on a PD150 With a SMIC and FMIC
