Fitting my D1 catch tank

Featured Replies

Thought i'd show off my handy work. I'm not 100% sure on the location i might change it around as its pretty close to the rad fan. I've had to put a cable tie around just as a precaution as well as being held on with a L bend attatched to the intake plastic thats on the front panel. Paranoid much lol the last thing i want is it burning out the motor while sat in traffic.

I wanted to keep it looking standard so wasnt bothered what the hose looked like, used a simple rubber bung from a DIY store and some jub clips.

anyhoo, pics:

I could but where it is you wouldnt see much. if you open your bonnet and look at the intake feed thats attatched to the front panel, i mounted it on the bottom of that with a L braket but i'm 90% sure i'm going to change it. sorry i cant help more lol but pics wouldnt show much anyway. easy to do and once you see it, you know :)
