RUSTY DISCS AND CALIPERS..

Featured Replies

CAN SOMEONE TELL ME IF THE BRAKE DISCS AND CALIPERS ARE MADE FROM SCRAP METAL AND OLD BEAN TINS BECAUSE THE DISCS GO RUSTY IN NO TIME AND THE CALIPERS CORRODE

QUICKLY, IVE TRIED PAINT ON THE CALIPERS BUT THE CORROSION JUST BLEEDS THREW AFTER A WHILE...ANY ADVICE FOLKS. THANKS

Not noticed the discs going, but my rear drums have got surface corrosion.

Service is due on Friday, I'll ask and report back (whether they'll fix it, not the scrap and bean can bit)

Service rust on Drums is so expected it with have lthle effect.

As for discs going rusty what part of this disc? As again this can be expected even more so considering the amout of salt used recently
