Where to get maxidot & Columbus

Featured Replies

Guys, spoke to Ben @ Shark, he said he no longer fits maxidot & can't supply Columbus.

So where do I go now?

Based in Glasgow & willing to travel.

Car is a 58 plate octavia elegance

Any more suggestions please

Eddie_NL on this forum has/can do Maxidot retrofits. Look up his thread in what he has done (even has VW clusters in a Skoda!!!)

Or your main dealer can (if you have a brand new dash pod).

Without wishing to open a can if worms (all Columbus' in eBay are stolen), try eBay for a Columbus unit.

Not used them, but slightly nearer you.

Found them in my searches, thanks for that.

I do believe they don't do maxidot? Ideally I'd have both installed on the same day so save time & money traveling

Thank you,

I would be extremely worried about paying £££'s on eBay for it to arrive and be stolen, would rather get one from a recommend person/company.

I shall drop Eddie a message now,

Thanks again

I used them and didn't have any problems. A quick job with no hassle. They do keep your old unit though.

Sarge.

Think it's a swing mp3 I've got wouldn't be overly bothered with that.

Taxi has a 3 year plate, but has 6 years left on the road as a taxi, so certainly would get my money's worth out of it.
