Coilover advice

Featured Replies

Simple question

Need a cheap set of coilovers to fit a fabia vrs

I want ones that retain stock length anti roll bar links as shortened ones last all of 5 mins

Whats my BEST option?

JOM's but not silly low think you can get away with 35-40mm on stock ARB links

Is that what your running?

Are you on stock links?

Yeah no running mondeo arbs it wasn't stupid low when you seen it?

Yeah

Id rather have coilovers that use standard links

I had kw v1's on my yellow fabia and it retained the stock links! I also had vmaxx on my black one which had shortened links but it ate them at 6 monthly intervals :o

Its for my mate who's just bought one :)

AP coilovers.

They're the cheapest I'd dare go with coilovers and use OEM drop links

Its for my mate. The price of AP's to him is out of the question

Its basically for looks. He doesnt drive fast what so ever...

Basically he wants budget coils but i know from experience i had never ending troubles with shortened links

I ran kw's on my fabia and now run kw's on my leon. Anything from the kw stable is awesome inc ap's and weitecs but his budget wont stretch to these coilovers. Plus i dont think he needs them :)

Weitec hicon gt retain standard drop links even when the cars on the floor. :-)

AP will be fine with the standard drop links but if you wanted something a bit cheaper then the JOM kit with the V-Maxx adjustable drop links is a good option.
