Advice on Fabia vRS pulling to the left while driving

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm after a bit of advice. I've noticed my Fabia vRS pull to the left since about August/September last year and tried a number of things to fix it but it has resulted in me taking it to Skoda to try and diagnose today. Since I've noticed the pull to the left, I've had the console bushes changed (went for the uprated ones) with no effect, changed two front tyres due to wear and had it tracked multiple times which solves the problem for a very short while and it then starts pulling again. I noticed last weekend that the two new tyres (Avon's that cost me nearly £200 in National) have worn excessively on the inside since August, which prompted me to book in with the dealer.

The dealer pointed out I needed to change the console bushes to the standard ones and change the anti roll bar bushes. Has anyone had any problems with the uprated console bushes causing tracking issues or pulling to one side? I can't see how this could be a cause?

Thanks in advance.

Mines had updated console bushes for nearly 3 years not had any problems with tyres. I personally would leave the updated ones in. The original ones ain't worth a rub! But I can't help on the tyre wear side. Hope you get it sorted.

Im havin the same problem. Had new bushes but only standard ones. Garage couldnt find anythin wrong.

Well if getting the tracking done solves it that must be the cause right?

Tracking temporarily solves the problem (for a week or so) then the problem comes back.

mikejay - is it the pulling problem or the ridiculous tyre wear problem you're having?
