Removed my glove box today..........

Featured Replies

I fitted my pioneer P77mp today and in the process removed the glovebox to run a cable.

Put it all back together and the airbag light is on. Only thing I can think of is that I removed the airbag switch plug when taking the glovebox out.

Can this be fixed in the car or does it need to be plugged in and errors cleared?

Did you test it before you put it all back together without the airback switch connected?

Its an easy enough mistake to make i did the same thing and it logs an airbag error every time you turn the ignition on. You just need someone with VCDS to clear the fault code for you and it'll go away.

now you say it yea, i did. Making sure the headunit was turning off when i took the keys out the ignition.

I've got a mate who has a snapon diag machine at the garage he works at, that should clear it.....shouldnt it?
