hi im having my dpf removed today, but guy doing it reckons there is no catalytic conerter on exhaust, is this right, its a 2007 octavia by the way!!!

and will this fail emissions test?

It's just after the DPF.

The DPF is the big lump, the cat is the smaller lump below it just after the sensor...

mot side of things ive read yes and no.

Some state all parts such as cat/dpf need to be in place and if not visable its a instant fail.

Ive actually contacted VOSA to verify for me as im interested in getting a removal done too

that smaller lump is a flex pipe, the cat and dpf are all in one in the big lump
