New Octavia VRS

Featured Replies

Do we know when the new VRS is due out?

Hope its going to be all wheel drive.

:thumbup::cool::):D

December I believe is the expected time.

I keep telling the people I love that I will only change my vrs for an evo( 7,8,9?) or the new octy vrs!!

Different kettle of frogs altogether I know but you have to follow your heart. :thumbup:

i heard thats march 2006 is the date and its likely to be a front wheel drive 200bhp diesel with a price tag of 18k

Everyone seems to have a different theory as to what the engine will be. I'd say however, the following are certainties:-

1. It will be offered with a petrol and diesel engine

2. It will be front wheel drive

3. The petrol variant will NOT be more powerful than the Golf GTI, and is in fact, likely to feature the same 200 bhp FSI Turbo engine.

4. The diesel will likely be the new 2.0 TDI PD170 offered in the new Passat

pritty much what i said! one thing is for sure it will be cheaper than a golf gti

I agree, it'll be cheaper and classier than the golf, 200bhp FSI turbo and will have green calipers :)
