Front shocker slight weap 2.0 TDI

Featured Replies

I got quoted £367.72 for new shocks (I guess this is for two at the front), plus fitting to be added on, when I had my last major service done. It wasnt an MOT failure though. Anyone know what a 'slight weap' means? And should I be worried. Any advice appreciated. Tim.

My previous car, a Hyundai Elantra on the last 3 MOT's, the engineer reported there was slight misting on the shocks. The car was coming up to 10 years old, and hence I decided to buy a new car, as it was only a matter of time when they would need to be done and It would have cost more than the car was worth.
