Not happy

Featured Replies

Took my car in to Skoda main dealer to get a new window regulator fitted under warranty as the one touch wasn't working and just had a call saying the plastic guide the motor attaches to "fell apart" when they dismantled it and will require replacing, but its not covered under the skoda used car warranty, £106 to replace at my cost!! Not happy!!

What! They broke it and it should be covered as its not consumable isnt it?!?

If it was OK 'till they started working on it then make them pay, warranty or not.

that garage is at it.

They're taking the p*ss! Sounds like they cocked the job up and are now expecting you to pay for it. Name & shame.

It is covered under your warranty 100%

+1.

Name and shame them, the tell skoda you want it done at a different dealer at no cost to you.

They broke it, they fix it. Even if it did 'fall apart' they should fix it whether it's covered by warranty or not. Tell them to jog on.

Contact Skoda UK and name and shame.
