Well here is one of my projects for your perusal.

I took this 2005 Golf GTI TFSI and set about the modding.

The car was low mileage had standard 17" alloys & black side skirts & lower bumpers.

First thing to do was sort the dreaded front arch rust. This was done under the VW warranty fortunately, the wings were repaired and painted.

From then I had the front & rear bumpers colour coded With gloss black inserts & sideskirts also colour coded.

Then the Neuspeed intake was fitted, followed by 3" downpipe & decat system.

The last thing required to make this ready for the Stage 3 Map was the HPFP upgrade. I then stripped the HPFP & fitted autotech internals.

Then in for stage 3 mapping. The car went from standard straight to satge 3 with no issues.

Then we had a split DV so this was replaced with REV G valve.

All was good for a few thousand miles then the car felt flat, we did some logging and concluded a boost leak. After all the usual visual checks, no faults could be found, so we turned to the smoke test.

Low & behold we found a seal on the front of the PCV Valve had a small nick in it causing a boost leak.

But all is well now, with another 6000 miles under the belt, there have been no other issues.

I then found a set of 18" Monza wheels as the 17's looked too small.

Is that stage 3 with a K04 or other bigger turbo or stage 2+ with the DP and uprated pump?

Just to confirm this is Shark stg 3 (stg2+ elsewhere)
