has anyone installed an aftermarket double din sat nav/ media center in this car? can anyone send me a link to one that fits? . was looking on ebay but they look as if they wont fit. so it anyone has fitted one can i have the make and model number ? or has one for sale thanks

Pretty much anything double din will fit. But you will loose the maxidot radio station info on your dashboard (if fitted) and steering wheel controls.

Not done it myself yet, need some spare cash first, although my reasons for swapping out the DX would be more for bluetooth and mp3 connectivity as the sat nav doesn't seem too bad (other than my map disc being 7 years out of date!)

I've installed a Pioneer AVH-4400BT media unit in mine - as said above, any normal double-din will fit, but i've tried everything and you do lose the steering wheel controls - seems the normal VAG adapter doesn't fit in our car... :(
