Fabia offside headlamp

Featured Replies

I need to replace both bulbs on the offside headlamp of my 2010 (01) 1.9tdi Fabia estate.

Can anyone tell me if this can be done without moving the fuel filter?

do you mean a 2001 (01) ie a MkI Fabia? If so then yes, in fact they're easier to do than the nearside.

And welcome to Briskoda

No sorry, my typing mistake. it is 2010 on a 10 plate not 01. The nearside, by the batter looks easy enough. Thanks anyway.

ah ok. Not done a MkII personally. There should be no reason to have to remove a fuel filter to change a bulb though. Maybe it's just a fiddly job on the MkII's?

Thanks very much again, but doubt I can get my fingers to the offside dip bulb.

I do not want to start the job if it is not possible. Will be tryimg again later.
