hi folks, my octavia vrs 2002 has an annoying squeak, i have found the culprit i think under the osf there is a linkage rubbing on an intercooler pipe, i think?? any ideas on how to go about sorting this?? i must admit i havent taken the wheel off yet, thought it best to get some feedback first, should i attempt it or leave it to a mechanic?? cheers

if its the siver ali pipe it should be bolted to the chassis leg via a bracket

you need to sort it because if it is the one i think it is if it gets holed or broken the car will run like crap its only a 10mm nut its held on with

hi yes i have just had wheel, and arch liner off, it was bolted on to the chassis like you say with a 10mm nut, so i loosened that and the hose clips, jiggled about a bit and retightened it all. just returned from short road test and (fingers crossed) noise has gone happy days!!
