My Superb was due for a week 7 build which by my reckoning was this week past. How long should it take from factory to dealer?

3-4 weeks from build date I reckon based on my recent experience of car built in week 3, collected Feb 10....

Well there's a chance I may have it by 9th March then. Going to see Scotland V Wales at Murryfield and would be a nice trip to ease it in.

Depressing? Not a chance!

Given current performances of both teams I think it may be a decent game but in any event it's the post match banter in the pubs that makes the day, win or lose. The Welshies are a decent bunch to get on with and good crack.

Of course, you may be referring to the boring drive on the A90/M90. That being the case if I have the Superb by then it'll give me a chance to appreciate its old man style comfort (I'm not getting any younger according to the birthday cards I received yesterday). If I don't have the new car by then it'll be some back road fun in the vRS.

Either way - it's gonna be a top weekend! :-)

Well I've been given a delivery schedule. Should be in Aberdeen by Wednesday or Thursday 6th or 7th March so I'm due to pick her up on Friday 8th - just in time for my trip to Murryfield.

I'm 39 years old but I feel like a kid in a sweet shop. :-)
